Position: Human Resource Generalist
Module: Employee Engagement & Learning and Development
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job responsibilities:
Program Delivery & Execution (Employee Engagement and Learning & Development)
Support the end-to-end delivery of EE and L&D programs, from planning and preparation to session execution and follow-up.
Ensure sessions (virtual or in person) run smoothly by supporting facilitation, managing flow, and coordinating participants.
Take ownership of assigned EE or L&D workstreams (e.g. a campaign, a learning series, or a recurring activity) under guidance.
Maintain structured trackers and shared documentation to support visibility and continuity.
Coordinate with HR, business stakeholders, trainers, and vendors.
Flag gaps, risks, or improvement opportunities early, and support refinements to processes or delivery.
Employee Engagement & Experience
Support the delivery of employee engagement initiatives that reinforce our values and ways of working.
Help translate engagement and learning activities into meaningful employee experiences through clear communication and smooth execution (well-organized, inclusive, and consistently delivered.)
Contribute ideas to improve how engagement or learning activities are run over time.
HR Branding & Internal Communications
Design simple, clean visuals (e.g. posters, recap slides) using tools like Canva or similar.
Draft email communications, internal write-ups or highlights to showcase EE & L&D activities.
Learning & Development Operations
Manage learning operations such as participant coordination, scheduling, and trainer/vendor liaison.
Maintain accurate training attendance, completion, and certification records.
Support HRD Corp processes, including grant applications, claims, and documentation, ensuring requirements are met end-to-end.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, in any related or relevant field.
1–2 years of experience in Employee Engagement, Learning & Development, HR, or People Operations, People & Culture.
Exposure to event coordination, training administration, or L&D operations is highly preferred.
Experience with HRDCorp processes (grants, claims, documentation) is a strong advantage.
Experience supporting internal communications or employer branding content is a plus.
Regional or multi-country exposure is a plus, but not mandatory.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong coordination and organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple activities at once.
Good communication skills (written and verbal) for stakeholder coordination and internal communications.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage trackers, records, and documentation accurately.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, and basic reporting.
Able to work independently while collaborating closely with the wider HR/other teams.
Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.
Personal Attributes:
Strong organizational skills with good follow-through.
Comfortable interacting with people and supporting facilitation in group settings.
Able to manage multiple workstreams without losing sight of priorities.
Comfortable creating simple visuals and written content (e.g. Canva).
Curious, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned areas.
Enjoys variety and seeing work through from start to finish.
