cbs Malaysia is the subsidiary of cbs, a leading international consultancy headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany. We deliver high-end quality consulting and technology services to large industrial corporations that run SAP. We are looking for an IT System Administrator who is passionate about growing with us in the APAC region.

Position: IT System Administrator

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be a part of APAC IT Helpdesk to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.

  • Troubleshoot day to day issues relating to Laptops, Iphones, O365 and other corporate applications.

  • Manage the installation and setup of hardware and software systems.

  • Manage procurement and deployment of client computers.

  • Able to manage administration of printers, user accounts, access rights, and administrative services.

  • Manage telecommunications infrastructure of the KL office (Wi-Fi, LAN, routers, switches, internet providers).

  • Collaborate closely with the IT Operations team at our headquarters in Germany.

  • Professional experience in SAP Basis and know-how in SAP architectures.

  • Interest and experience in dealing with current topics such as SAP system upgrades / conversions, installations and system copies, Fiori support & administration of the productive landscape as well as cloud topics (BTP, SAP Cloud Connector) desirable.

  • Knowledge in the areas of Unix, Windows and database administration is a plus.

Job requirements

  • Around 1 year of experience as an IT System Administrator. Fresh graduates with related internship experiences are encouraged to apply.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science, or possess extensive practical experience.

  • Demonstrate experience in technical support along with a strong service-oriented approach.

  • Exhibit an innovative mindset, ability to work effectively in an international team, and a structured work approach.

  • Possess knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, macOS & SAP Basis.

  • Communicate fluently in spoken and written English.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Knowledge of SAP software is an advantage.

  • Relevant certifications in SAP Or system administration or network administration.
