cbs Japan is the subsidiary of cbs, a leading international consultancy headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany. We deliver high-end quality consulting and technology services to large industrial corporations that run SAP.


We are looking for a Bilingual Sales and Marketing Consultant who is passionate to grow with us in the APAC region. You will be an integral part of the Sales Team and help the local management to grow the business. You will establish and manage relationships with potential and existing clients, but also partners of cbs. To succeed, we equip you with relevant training and mentoring to develop your career in IT service sales on the fast track.


You will play an important role, such as:

  • Focuses sales effort by studying/focusing on customer’s business needs/requirements.
  • Service existing account obtains sales and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing a work schedule call on existing or potential customers.
  • Follow-up with partners & customers on any outstanding related to sales matters, lead-time, coordination of deliveries price revision, pricing terms and conditions, Letter of Authorizations, brochures, etc.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls and other methods of communication (e.g. email) call, with new prospects and existing customer to educate, and inform customer about our service.
  • Assisting the sales team in preparing Quotation and RFQ/RFPs, and follow-up on Project Tender related matters.
  • Maintaining database (Salesforce, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.

Job requirements

We are looking for:

  • A graduate of a well-recognized university or young professionals with more than 3 years working experience.
  • Bilingual Japanese / English, Japanese language level JLPT N1, Japanese national preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful sales in the SAP ERP (ECC, S/4HANA) domain.
  • Looking for an exciting career path in sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
  • Eager to expand cbs with new sales, clients, and territories.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, Persuasive, goal-oriented.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.


Your qualifications:

  • Good Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Business studies, Marketing or other fields.
  • Impressive presentation skills and ability to engage customers in workshops.
  • Excellent in English and Japanese (verbal and written).
  • Japanese citizen or PR.
