SAP ABAP Senior Solution Consultant - Contract

As part of the cbs technical team we deliver custom ERP developments, S/4HANA transformation projects, system integrations, and cloud applications for our global and internal customers. We create concepts, execute implementations, and manage projects end-to-end. We are responsible for all phases of the software and project lifecycle based on our project methodology.

To expand our local team in cbs APAC, we are looking for:

Position: SAP Senior Solution Consultant (ABAP + Fiori) – Contract
Modules: ABAP / Fiori / S/4HANA Transformation
Location: Kuala Lumpur / Bangalore / Jakarta / Manila

Expectation and tasks as SAP Senior Solution Consultant (ABAP + Fiori):

• Analyse functional requirements and design technical solutions within S/4HANA transformation programs.

• Develop and enhance complex objects using ABAP 7.4+, CDS Views, OData Services, RAP, Enhancements, Forms, Interfaces, Reports, and Performance Optimization techniques.

• Design, develop, and deploy SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications in S/4HANA environments.

• Participate in Agile development cycles and collaborate closely with functional consultants and project managers.

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.

• Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

• Support data migration, system integration, and HANA optimization activities where required.

• Contribute to cbs best practices and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills for SAP Senior Developer (ABAP + Fiori) – Contract:

• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or any other science discipline, preferably with a background in business / industry & commerce.

• At least 5–8 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer in customer projects or similar consulting environments.

• Strong hands-on experience in ABAP 7.4+, CDS Views, OData Services, Enhancements, Interfaces, Forms, Reports, and performance optimization on SAP HANA.

• Proven experience in SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 application development and deployment within S/4HANA landscapes.

• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SAPUI5, HANA concepts, and integration frameworks.

• Experience in Data Migration (LTMC/LSMW), AIF, Process Integration/Orchestration, and S/4HANA conversion projects would be an advantage.

• Special matter expert knowledge in enhancing modules such as MDG (Master Data Governance), GTS (Global Trade Services), eWM (Extended Warehouse Management), or TM (Transportation Management) is desirable.

• Basic functional understanding of at least one SAP module in Logistics or Finance.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is beneficial.

• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

• Ability to work independently and organize tasks effectively in a contract-based delivery environment.

• Strong interest in S/4HANA transformation projects and modern SAP development technologies.

• Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and globally collaborative environment.
