As a part of the cbs technical team – we custom ERP developments, integration projects, and cloud apps for our global and internal customers. We create concepts, execute the implementation, and manage our projects. We are responsible for all phases of the software and project lifecycle based on our project methodology. To expand our local team in Kuala Lumpur, we are looking for SAP Cloud Platform / BTP - Consultant / Architect / Senior Consultant

Position: SAP Cloud Platform / BTP - Consultant / Architect / Senior Consultant

Expectations and Tasks as for Cloud Platform Consultant / Architect:

• Analyze functional requirements and design IT solutions in SAP environment.
• Implement customer requirements with Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, Angular, or SAP Business Technology Platform
• Write technical documentation and test scripts.
• Interest in projects using the newest technologies.
• Desire for a dynamic and prestigious work environment

Expectations and Tasks as SAP BTP:

• Design and implement SAP BTP solutions for SAP S/4HANA integration, extension, and automation.
• Develop and deploy custom applications using SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, and Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Utilize SAP Integration Suite (API Management, Cloud Integration, Event Mesh) to connect S/4HANA with external systems.
• Extend SAP S/4HANA functionalities using SAP BTP Extension Suite (ABAP Environment, Business Application Studio, Low-Code/No-Code tools).
• Leverage SAP HANA Cloud for advanced data management and analytics.
• Implement security best practices in SAP BTP, including authentication, authorization, and compliance.
• Support S/4HANA side-by-side extensions by developing microservices and cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to optimize SAP BTP use cases for digital transformation.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize BTP solutions for performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with SAP BTP innovations and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills for Cloud Platform Consultant / Architect:

• A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or any other science topic
• At least 2 years (Consultant) / 5 years (Senior Consultant) / 8 years (Solution Architect) of working experience in Java, Azure, or SAP being involved in customer projects or a similar environment.
• Knowledge in SAP Cloud Platform/BTP and ANY of the following:

1. JAVA, Javascript, NodeJS, React or Angular
2. SAP Fiori, Fiori Elements, SAP UI-5 Development
3. GitHub, WebIDE, Business Application Studio
4. Cloud Aplication Model (CAP), SAP SDK
5. HANA Backend Development (XSJS, XSA, SQL)

• Process understanding in the modules like: Sales, Service, Logistics, Finance
• Interest in new technologies and innovations around SAP
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) required.

Qualifications and Skills for SAP BTP:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors).
• Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5, CAP, Node.js, and Java for developing cloud extensions.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, SAP BTP Security, and Identity Authentication & Authorization.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Extension Suite (ABAP in Cloud, Workflow, Business Rules).
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures, CDS Views, and Fiori App Extensions.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration and performance issues in SAP BTP.
• SAP BTP certification is a plus.
